Being a memeticist allows you to explain previously unexplainable phenomena such as reincarnation, the stigmata, terraforming, ghosts, deja vu and a whole lot more.

Think of a meme as a gathering cloud, which in the case of stigmata can discharge upon an unwitting subject.

Memetic explanations reveal that memetic phenomena is often characterised by irony and coincidence.

  My theory has important ramifications for todays world. It can explain why once you start on a particular path (say good or evil intent), you can find yourself propelled forward and empowered along it.

It can explain the spectacular success of the terrorist plot on 9-11, and it reveals a new  way of strategies that take memes into account. Traditional responses to a memetic construct such as a gang, neglect the hydra like nature of memes and always fail. Cults and gangs have an arc of existance that naturally cause decay, usually due to the affiliation of unattractive memes to their cause. The  new vanguard will divert their attention into something fresher rather than following the path of prior pioneers.  Understanding such social phenomena as a memetic construct is key to their control.
